So, if you have found this page through a search or because you are a regular reader (thank you), you might be surprised at what is here.
What Happened
It’s been an interesting ride here behind the scenes at Laura Earnest headquarters.
It started out as a simple administrative change. I simply wanted to replace the primary domain in my hosting account. That turned into a week of multiple support chats/phone calls, during which I discovered that not only had my host decided to move all my files around, they were also changing my WordPress settings.
Which would be fine if they had asked. Or I had authorized it.
But after a week of finding all or parts of my website inaccessible, I was on the point of screaming. My husband was watching my stress levels climb, and he suggested that it was time to find a new host.
And so I have.
Time To Regroup
I am also taking the time to clean out all the junk on the site and speed it up. I had posts going back to 2008 on the site. And while I was slowly updating them, it was slow going.
Over the next month you will see content from 2019 forward come onto the site. I will also move over the most helpful pages and freebies as well as the store.
